Take your photography beyond snapshots and learn how to create more confident, creative images. This practical taster session introduces the foundations of strong photography through light and composition.

This three-hour photography taster session is designed to help you understand what makes a photograph stand out. Through guided activities and demonstrations, you will explore how light, framing and composition can dramatically improve your images.
Suitable for beginners and those looking to refresh their skills, the session focuses on building confidence with your camera while encouraging a more creative approach to photography. You will leave with practical tips that can be applied immediately to everyday photography.

• Basic composition techniques
• Framing and viewpoint
• Developing a more creative eye
• Practical photography exercises

Entry Requirements

No prior experience is required. This session is suitable for beginners.

Information

Please bring:

  • A camera with an SD card, or a camera phone with available memory

The College has a limited number of cameras available to borrow. These can be booked in advance when you sign up.
