Design and create your own unique fabric shopper bag in this practical and creative workshop.
This hands-on workshop gives you the opportunity to design and make your own bespoke fabric shopper bag in a supportive and creative environment. Suitable for beginners, the session focuses on simple construction techniques combined with individual design choices.
You will select from a range of quality fabrics provided, or if you have attended a mono printing session, you may incorporate your own hand-printed fabric into your design. With guidance from an experienced tutor, you will learn how to plan, assemble and construct your bag while developing confidence in working with fabric.
By the end of the session, you will have completed a unique, handcrafted shopper bag to take home.

- Selecting and planning your fabric design
- Basic construction techniques
- Cutting and assembling fabric components
- Creating a functional and durable shopper bag
- Finishing and personalising your final piece
Entry Requirements
No prior experience is necessary – just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn a new skill.
Information
All materials required are included in the course fee.
For your safety and comfort, please bring:
- Long hair tied back
- No valuable jewellery
- A drink and snack (there will be a short break)
