Enjoyed your beginners’ Italian? Build your confidence and develop your skills to communicate more naturally in everyday situations.
This course is designed for learners who have already completed a beginners’ Italian course or have a basic knowledge of the language and wish to develop their skills further.
You will build on your existing knowledge through a range of engaging and interactive activities, improving your pronunciation, vocabulary and confidence when speaking. The course focuses on expanding your ability to communicate in everyday situations, helping you move from simple phrases towards more structured conversations.
By the end of the course, you will be able to use Italian more confidently when travelling or in social situations, with an increased understanding of grammar and sentence structure.
What you’ll cover:
- Developing pronunciation and confidence in speaking
- Expanding vocabulary for everyday situations
- Revisiting and strengthening key grammar structures
- Ordering food and drinks and interacting in restaurants
- Shopping and handling everyday transactions
- Making hotel bookings and travel arrangements
- Asking for and giving directions
- Talking about yourself, others and where you live
- Using descriptive language to extend conversations
This course continues to use interactive and practical learning methods, including speaking, listening and group activities in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Entry Requirements
Ideally, completed an Italian Beginners course or have some basic knowledge of the language.
