Take control of your health and wellbeing by developing your knowledge of exercise, nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices.

This qualification is designed for you if you want to improve your understanding of personal exercise, health and nutrition. The course supports you in developing the knowledge needed to make informed lifestyle choices that promote long-term health and wellbeing.

You will explore how exercise and nutrition work together to support physical and mental health and learn how to plan and prepare personal exercise and nutrition routines. Studying online gives you the flexibility to learn at a time and pace that suits your work or home commitments, while still receiving structured tutor support.

What you’ll cover:

  • Understanding health, wellbeing and exercise
  • Understanding the role of nutrition in exercise
  • Planning and preparing for personal exercise and nutrition

For each unit, you will complete a set of knowledge-based questions as part of the formal assessment. Your tutor will provide feedback after each unit. All assessments must be completed and passed to successfully achieve the qualification.

Entry Requirements

Level 1 or equivalent English language qualification required.
