Turn your favourite photo into a unique piece of artwork. Create a personalised collage of your pet to frame and treasure.
In this creative and enjoyable workshop, you will learn how to transform a photograph of your pet into a 2D paper collage. Guided by a tutor, you will explore techniques for cutting, layering and composing shapes to capture the character and features of your animal.
Using a range of materials, you will build your design step by step, resulting in a finished artwork that you can proudly display at home. By the end of the session, you will have a completed and framed collage ready to take away.
What you’ll learn:
- Working from a photographic reference
- Basic composition and layout techniques
- Cutting and layering paper
- Building shape, texture and detail
- Colour selection and creative interpretation
- Finishing and presenting your artwork
Entry Requirements
No prior experience is necessary – just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn a new skill.
Information
All materials, including a frame, are provided and included in the course fee.
Please bring:
- A clear photograph of the pet or animal you wish to recreate
- A drink and snack (there will be a short break)
