Build your understanding of equality and diversity and learn how to promote inclusive practice in society, communities and the workplace.

This qualification is designed to introduce you to the key concepts of equality and diversity and how they apply across a range of environments, including society, the community and the workplace.

You will explore how stereotyping and labelling can affect individuals, understand the impact of prejudice and discrimination, and develop awareness of inclusive and fair practice. The course provides a strong foundation of knowledge that can support further study and career development across a variety of sectors.

Studying online gives you the flexibility to learn at a time and pace that suits your work or home commitments, while still receiving structured tutor support.

For each unit, you will complete a set of knowledge-based questions as part of the formal assessment. Your tutor will provide feedback after each unit. All assessments must be completed and passed to successfully achieve the qualification.

Level 1 or equivalent English language qualification required.
