Sports Students Visit Manchester on Exciting Trip!

Last week Level 3 Year 1 Sport students had the fantastic opportunity to visit Manchester City and Manchester Metropolitan University to explore progression opportunities in higher education and the sports industry.

The visit included a tour of Manchester City’s training grounds and the university facilities, fitness testing in the labs and discussions with staff about the Sports Coaching degree delivered in partnership between City in the Community and Manchester Metropolitan University.

Heather Marsden, Lecturer in Sport, Fitness, and Personal Training said, “Experiences like these are invaluable in helping students make informed decisions about their future, while giving them a real insight into university life, industry expectations, and the diverse career pathways available within sport.”
