Our mechanics students are delighted to have been able to start learning in their recently completed space! The newly redeveloped mechanics workshops are part of a wider programme of redevelopment down at our Auction Mart Campus.
The £2.3 million project, made possible by T Level capital funding from the Department of Education, is developing our construction and mechanics facilities, providing a fantastic opportunity for our students to develop their skills and to support the local economy moving forward.
With learning areas completely transformed with new equipment, tools and technology, tutors can continue to deliver quality education in spaces to be truly proud of!
Adam Milner, Lecturer in Motor Vehicle Engineering said, “We’re excited to unveil our newly remodelled workshop, now equipped with cutting-edge tools and technology to meet industry standards. This upgrade enhances hands-on learning, ensuring students gain the skills employers need, preparing them for success in the modern automotive and mechanical sectors”
Our facilities will be available to view on our upcoming Open Event in January. Find out more about our Mechanics courses, now taking applications for September 2025.
