Craven College Celebrates with Students
We are celebrating once again as our GCSE and Level 2 students collected their results yesterday.

Over 70 Level 2 courses have a 100% achievement rate – an absolutely outstanding statistic and testament to the hard work of students and tutors alike.
This summer exam series saw 425 students sit maths GCSE, and 369 sit English GCSE at Craven College, and results day was the culmination of their hard work and dedication. The achievement rate for GCSE maths is 84.3%, which is 4.1% over national average, whilst achievement in GCSE English is currently at 84.2%, 3.8% above national average.
Anita Lall, Principal and CEO of Craven College commented, “We are immensely proud of all our GCSE and Level 2 students. Their dedication, resilience and hard work throughout their studies have been rewarded with some fantastic results, and they should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved.”
“These qualifications provide an important foundation for the future, helping students progress to further study, apprenticeships and employment opportunities. As enrolment for September 2026 opens today, we would be delighted to welcome anyone who has received their results and is still considering their next steps. Our team is on hand to offer guidance, discuss the options available and help students find the right course to support their ambitions.”

Alongside our 16-18 students, a number of adult learners have returned to education this year to achieve their qualifications.
Jayne Teal, one of our adult learners, achieved a fabulous Grade 4 in her GCSE maths. She said, “I have really enjoyed my course – I’m proud that I haven’t given up and achieved a qualification which has helped me progress in my career“.
Wendy Newall, Head of Department for English and Maths added, “A huge congratulations to all our adult learners who have returned to education to gain their maths and English GCSEs. Their dedication and hard work have paid off, and we are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved.
“Maths and English are valuable life and workplace skills that can support future career opportunities and personal development. From today, adult learners can enrol at our Aireville Campus and speak with our team about the range of learning opportunities available.”
Those receiving their results who have not yet applied for a course starting this September, can still enrol on a course at Craven College. We offer a wide range of Further Education courses from Entry level to Level 3, T Levels, Apprenticeships and Higher Education. Enrolment 2026 is already underway at Aireville Campus and visitors will have the opportunity to speak to tutors and Careers Teams about their next steps.
