Overview

As a Hairdresser, you will be able to shampoo, condition, cut, colour and lighten hair using a range of techniques, styles and finishes to create a variety of looks for ladies and men. As a Barber, you will be able to shampoo, condition and cut hair using a range of barbering techniques, styles and finishes, cut facial hair into shape and provide shaving services for men. As a Hairdresser or a Barber, you must be able to work with all hair types ranging from straight hair to very curly, wiry hair and be able to carry out consultations with clients whilst demonstrating the professionalism, values, behaviours, communication skills and safe working practices associated with hairdressing or barbering and be able to work without supervision to a high level of precision using exceptional client care skills.
