The Countryside Apprenticeship focuses on practical skills to assist countryside management and community environmental projects.

Within this Apprenticeship, you will learn the skills to work with communities, organise conservation projects and understand how to restore, develop and maintain countryside or urban spaces. The Apprenticeship can be tailored to your job and the needs of the environment that you work in due to the wide range of optional modules available within it. You will need good communication skills, excellent problem-solving skills and manual dexterity. You can use this Apprenticeship as a springboard to train forĀ senior roles such as a Senior Ranger, Ecologist, Senior Estate Worker or Environmental Management Officer.
