Craven College has been chosen to deliver four T Levels from September 2022!
T Levels are a 2-year qualification that you can do as an alternative to A Levels, other post-16 courses or an Apprenticeship. They bring classroom learning and an extended industry placement together on a course designed with businesses and employers.
Technical Level courses Equivalent to 3 A Levels
Developed in collaboration with employers and businesses
2 year courses
Mixture of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience
Industry placement of at least 315 hours (approximately 45 days)
Acquire the knowledge and experience needed for skilled employment, further study or a Higher Apprenticeship
|Digital Business Services T Level New Course||Level 3|
|Healthcare Science T Level New Course||Level 3|
|Management & Administration T Level New Course||Level 3|
|Science (Laboratory) T Level New Course||Level 3|
You’ll spend 80% of your time in the classroom and 20% on a 45-day placement with an employer to give you the skills and knowledge companies look for.
T Levels involve more classroom study than Apprenticeships, which means you can experience an industry while you continue your studies.
Assessment is through a combination of externally set exams, assessments and coursework.
One T Level takes 2 years of full-time study and is equivalent to 3 A Levels. Once complete you can continue your studies and progress to university.
