Steve Wilson

Lecturer in Unformed Protective Services
Steve Wilson  title

I served 11 years in the British Army, and it was instrumental in providing me with a wealth of opportunities that have shaped my personal and professional development. Through training programmes and operational experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan, I have gained leadership skills, resilience, and adaptability. During my time I was also a training instructor, and this led to me wanting to get into education when I left the Army. After leaving the Army I finally got into education, and I am hoping to pass on everything I have learnt to students who wish to join any of the uniformed protective services.
