Skipton Business Awards 2026

The Skipton Business Awards, held this year on Monday 05 October at Skipton Town Hall, celebrates collaboration and the best Skipton has to offer across a wide range of categories.

Craven College were delighted once again to be involved with the Skipton Business Awards hosted by Skipton Bid by sponsoring the Leisure and Tourism Award. This award acknowledges an unforgettable local gem, showcasing the experience, attraction or must-visit spot that stands out from the rest!

We offer our heartiest congratulations to the winners of the Leisure and Tourism Award, The Skipton Hotel.

Alex Aspden, as part of his role as Training Manager for Tyro Training sat on the judging panel for the awards and said, “It was an honour to be asked to be part of the judging team for the 2026 Skipton Business Awards. The standards of all nominations was incredibly high and it was really tough to judge a winner for each category – the team spent a lot of time going through the evidence, which just shows the quality and diversity of businesses in the Skipton area. A huge congratulations to all the winners and nominees.”

This partnership means not only investing in our community but being able to give something back; working with Skipton Bid has opened up so many opportunities for our students through work experience and projects which helps us continue our work in developing the workforce of the future and providing them with the unique skills they need.
