Published 09 March

As you know, we celebrated our 200th anniversary in 2025, and as part of the ongoing celebrations we are bringing the exhibitions from our end of year event out into the community to share with the people of Skipton and beyond!

Craven College Principal & CEO Anita Lall & Library Supervisor Alison Court

Starting from Monday 09 March at Skipton Library and running until 30 April, visitors will have the opportunity to see how College campuses have developed through the years and share in just some of the ways the staff and students at Craven College came together to celebrate this momentous milestone.

Anita Lall, Principal and CEO of Craven College said, “As a College that has been firmly embedded within Skipton for 200 years, I think it is important to share the history of the College with our local community. Craven College’s journey and history is intertwined with that of Skipton and so displaying our exhibition in Skipton Library is the natural thing to do so that local people can share in the celebrations.”

Helenne Whitaker, Community Development Librarian – Craven added, “Skipton Library is a community hub right on the High Street and our noticeboard is yours to use! Local groups can share information and exhibit their projects for free. We can have up to 700 people popping into the library each day, so it’s a great way to get your message out!

You can visit the Craven College exhibition at Skipton Library until 30 April 2026, please check the Library for their opening hours!
