Craven College End of Year Fashion Show 2026

Join us for an exciting Fashion Show that celebrates the incredible achievements of our Creative Industries students!

Venue: Craven College, Aireville Campus, Gargrave Road, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 1US

The exhibition will be a collection of work from students from Level 3 Year 1 Diploma in Art & Design, Level 3 Year 3 Extended Diploma in Fashion and Textiles, and the Foundation Diploma in Art & Design. Level 2 Media Make-up, Level 3 Diploma in Media Make-up, Level 3 Extended Diploma in Media Make-up and Foundation Diploma in Media Make-up students will support the show by showcasing their fantastic skills in hair, adornments, and make-up for the fashion show. A touch of glamour will be added by masks from the project Coalescence.

This show will focus on a few set projects which include:

• Deconstruct: Witness the transformation of second-hand clothing into innovative new fashions, as this project emphasised the environmental impact of fashion.
• The Body Is My Canvas: This project invited our students to explore the human form as a dynamic medium for artistic expression – creating fashion and using make-up to adorn the body.
• Coalescence: In this project, students undertook diverse research activities to gather inspiration and then fused these into a cohesive project theme or concept to develop their own creative outcomes and express individuality. Fashion outcomes are accessorised with masks made by media make-up students.
• Final Major Project: Marvel at the creativity of our students as they propose their own themes and express their unique styles and techniques learned throughout the year
