WORK EXPERIENCE

You are required as part of your study programme to obtain and engage in a period of work experience. This needs to be logged and tracked throughout the academic year. It is your responsibility to obtain this placement and provide the necessary paperwork such as insurance and health & safety documents.
Please note that if you join the Craven College Crusaders Esports Team, you will be expected to be available on a Wednesday 16:00-18:00 during the season.
Fees
You are expected to be adequately and professionally dressed for all Student Champs Games both in College and externally. The College online shop allows you to purchase branded specific jerseys and hoodies. All team members must have at least the standard Craven College Crusaders jersey before the start of the season: link here
Paying for food and drinks on campus – Upay – our new payment system
From September 2024, you will be able to pay for your school meals with your College ID badge, simply swipe your badge at the tills!
Students with free school meal eligibility will automatically have their ‘free school meal’ balance topped up to their College ID badge, making it easier and quicker to pay for your meals on campus.
Students who do not qualify for free school meals will also be able to pay for meals this way, simply download the Upay app and add credit to your account. Further details will be given when you enrol.
Cash and bank card are still accepted for any food/drink purchase.

We run several trips and visits for our students which include:
- London Residential
- British Esports Federation Performance Centre Sunderland
- Bradford Media Museum
- Guest Speakers in College including Craven College Alum, Uni of Bolton and City College Leeds
- Uni Open Days and UCAS Progression Event in Manchester
