Our new purpose-built, industry-standard Ribblehead Construction Building on our Aireville Campus, Skipton gives our students a fantastic platform to learn the basic knowledge and skills that are essential for entering the Carpentry and Joinery sector.
Joinery students can choose between Bench and Site Joinery, making use of a well equipped Workshop, Machine Shop with storage and extraction and Project Areas. Our tutors are specialist craftspeople and have many years’ experience in the Construction industry in both large and small businesses with specialisms in Heritage and Conservation work. You will have the opportunity to enter the prestigious CITB Skill Build competition. All tools, equipment and materials are provided.
Entry Requirements
- Level 3 – Carpentry & Joinery Level 2 (merit/distinction) including English or maths GCSEs grade 9-4
- Level 2 – Carpentry & Joinery Level 1 including English & maths GCSEs grade 9-2
- Level 1 – 4 GCSEs grade 9-1 including English or maths
