I have a passion for plants, conservation and the natural environment and a strong belief in the value of environmental education. In addition to working at the College, I am employed as an External Examiner for Chester University examining Countryside and Environmental Degree Courses and have acted as a consultant for the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust and the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.

My Qualifications...

BSc Joint Honours in Botany & Geography (Durham University)
PGCE in Geography and Science
Post Graduate Certificate in IT to Support Special Educational Needs

Did you know...

I used to run a Wildlife club for children which covered everything from examining animal droppings to leading bat walks.
My favourite holidays are packing my tent on the back of my bike and heading off into the unknown.
