Foundation Learning 1

This exciting Entry Level 2 Diploma in Skills for Independent Living course is designed to support you in becoming self-reliant and give you the opportunity for personal growth.

Foundation Learning courses are designed to give you an ideal introduction to College life, help you gain new skills and give you a progression route to take you onto the next course or Apprenticeship in an area of your choice. Your lessons will focus on cooking, shopping, using community facilities, personal safety, independent living skills and health & leisure. You will also have the opportunity to try a selection of Craven College subjects which may include animal care, art and horse care.

Functional skills maths and English will be included in your study programme.

You will get plenty of support in building your confidence due to our caring environment and small group size.
