Equine Student Lands Placement with Saracen Horse Feeds

Saracen Horse Feeds, an industry leader in equine nutrition, recently took part in the College’s work placement programme and opened its doors to Level 3 Equine student, Gabriella Wilson.

Gabby fought off tough competition and secured the highly sought-after placement with the company, later being taken under the wing of the Northern Feed Representative and Nutritionist, Sarah Rushby. 

The placement not only allowed Gabby to complete an essential work placement component of her course but also the opportunity to travel to yards and feed retailers across the north of England.

One standout moment saw Gabby accompany the Saracen Horse Feeds team to the British Dressage Quest Championships. During the event, Gabby represented the company on the Saracen stand and assisted in weighing horses on the weighbridge.
