The Construction Maintenance Operations Apprenticeship is a multi-skilled construction route which will equip you with a broad range of skills and enable you to develop the practical experience and knowledge required for maintenance operations. This includes elements of carpentry & joinery, brickwork, painting & decorating, plastering and basic plumbing and is aimed at people who are working for a construction firm, developing property or working in a general maintenance role.

The Carpentry & Joinery Apprenticeship offers both bench and site joinery pathways. As an Apprentice you will develop the foundation skills of the trade at this level and will also learn how to safely use hand and power tools to assist with the construction, maintenance or repair of wooden structures/products etc.

Beauty Therapy Apprenticeships

This Apprenticeship will give you the knowledge and understanding required to be employed in the industry and could ultimately lead to a future in salon management or ownership. You will enhance your technical and creative skills in beauty therapies, customer service, client management and health and safety and develop your abilities in a wide range of cosmetic applications. As a Beauty Therapy Apprentice, you will assist senior therapists and learn a range of skills, such as how to improve facial skin conditions, spray tan, shape brows, apply make-up and perform hand and foot treatments.

Business Apprenticeships will vary depending on the organisation you are working within. Whilst the general administrative duties may be similar from workplace to workplace, the difference will come from the additional tasks you may be employed to do. You will frequently assist with finance and payroll, human resources, marketing and social media, reception duties, sales and events and have the opportunity to grow and develop within the organisation taking on addition responsibilities as you gain more confidence and skills.

Accounting Apprenticeships are designed to fit the recruitment needs of chartered accountancy businesses and accounts departments within any type of business, big or small. Having a head for numbers and a good grasp of the English language as well as good communication skills, are a must in this industry. As an Apprentice you can progress from a Level 3 to a Level 4 through an Apprenticeship whilst dealing with real clients, budgets and deadlines on a daily basis, therefore gaining valuable industry experience at the same time as whilst getting qualified. As a Painting & Decorating Apprentice you will learn a variety of skills such as: preparing surfaces, matching colours, applying coatings, hanging patterned wallpaper and working with a variety of materials from gloss paint to Artex.     Plastering Apprenticeships are designed to train you in the foundation skills and techniques required to start a career in the trade. These skills include different techniques for indoor plastering as well as the skills to fix angle beads, cut and fix plaster board, mold cornices and conserve and restore old plasterwork to its original condition. This qualification will give you basic knowledge to apply plaster materials to internal and external surfaces and the fundamental skills to complete projects with a professional finish.

    As a Land-based Engineer Apprentice, you will learn how to work under supervision and where appropriate on your own initiative on a wide range of machinery, plant, equipment and tasks. These tasks may include preparation and pre-delivery inspection of new and used machinery, carrying out scheduled service and routine maintenance operations, preparation of equipment for repair which may include dismantling and reassembly of the equipment and their component parts, conducting system tests and simple diagnostic tasks, handing over machinery plant and equipment to the control and use of others at work.
