This course is for those with low-level English and is the first step to improving your writing skills.

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) qualification supports those whose first language isn’t English, helping you gain the communication skills needed to progress in the workplace, education and beyond.

On this course, you will be shown how to communicate information and opinions in writing for an intended audience. Written communications include forms, notes, records, emails, narratives, letters, diagrams, simple instructions, and reports, for example, accident reports.

You must have an initial assessment to ensure that you are on the correct course and at the correct level.
