As part of their ‘Planning an Event' module, Travel and Transport Level 2 students have put on the first of five events they have been tasked with organising. Students organised the five day bun and juice marathon and did everything from making sure there were enough delicious treats to go around to making sure it has been promoted around College to students and staff.
Tutor Majella Brennan-Bargh said: "Everyone in College has been extremely pleased about how they took ownership of this event. As well as learning the skills of how to plan an event, they also learnt about charity work, diseases such as cancer and about how Macmillan provide much needed support for cancer sufferers and their families. A huge congratulations to all involved".
