The Craven College Tech Services department has been working with the charity, Transforming Lives for Good, donating spare IT and network equipment.

The charity focuses on helping children who are facing tough starts in life, from school exclusion to poverty and holiday hunger.

After working with the charity for the first time last February, the equipment has already gone to fantastic use, making its way to centres across the local area to be accessed by young people.

Donations so far have included 60 network switches, 50 laptops, 200 NUCs, HDMI cables, earphones, MAC accessories, 17 iMacs and much more!

Craven College ICT Manager, Adrian Lawson says “We’ve been able to donate a huge amount of equipment to the charity over the past year which we know they are appreciative of. Knowing the equipment is going to good use rather than being held in a workshop is great news.”
