Look at Life Course with the Royal Navy

Public Services

Ten students from Public Services Level 3 went for a three-day ‘look at life’ course in Portsmouth with the Royal Navy.

They were put through their paces in the run and swim tests, visited the HMS Dragon ship, learnt about the different job roles in the Navy and had an evening of sport with students from colleges in Halifax and Liverpool.

Bridget Slater, Public Services Tutor, said: “It was a fabulous experience for the students to look at the life of the Royal Navy and also to mix with students from other colleges.”
