Public Services students enjoyed a day with the Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers (REME) who came to College to deliver STEM activities.
The day started off at Sandylands Sports Centre, Skipton, where students spent the morning learning how to programme robots so that they would move around the sports hall.
In the afternoon, students came back to College where they were divided into teams and between them, built their own rocket car. Once the teams had shaped and constructed their car, a small firework was placed inside and a competition was held to see which could go the fastest.
The winning rocket car reached 55 mph!
