Health & Social Care courses

Access to HE Social Psychology and Health & Social Care students were given an inspiring and informative talk this week by Catriona Morrison, the Head of Psychology at the University of Bradford.

Catriona outlined the inspiring and innovative teaching methods and resources at Bradford University and also shared her passion for the subject. As well as this, students learnt the plethora of opportunities available to Psychology graduates and were particularly interested in lesser-known areas such as Exercise Psychology and Occupational Psychology. Many are now eager to explore the subject even more.

The opportunities for career progression due to the development of a multitude of transferrable skills, plus the availability of different postgraduate routes is one of the reasons that Craven College offers feeder courses at Level 3 in subjects such as Social Psychology and Access to Social Sciences.

If you are unsure about how you want to progress in future but feel that university is for you, why not email tutor Jess Cornthwaite on jcornthwaite@craven-college.ac.uk? Limited places are still available for you to make the most of your education and live your best life.
