Craven College Performing Arts students have landed one of the best jobs at Christmas by being recruited as carriage entertainers on the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway Santa Specials. Kate Molloy, Admissions, Careers and Employability Team Leader said ‘This is work experience at its best'. The students were given the details of the job and have rehearsed in their own time.

Proud Tutor, Giles Atkinson said, ‘The girls will be singing, dancing and story-telling to keep the children entertained until Santa has been to see them and will be working each weekend in December. They are gaining valuable work experience acting in public and also helping with their confidence performing in an unusual setting."

Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway Business Manager, Stephen Walker, says that he is delighted to be working with the College and in terms of helping Santa, the students are showing great potential!
