Craven College is celebrating its tenth year of hosting musicals at Mart Theatre, in Skipton.

The College presented its first annual musical back in 2009, performing the then very popular High School Musical. Fast forward ten years to this year, when Craven College performed Chicago to a packed out audience. This time, they were accompanied by a 13 piece live band, provided by Ermysted’s Grammar School.

Pictured below are Ashley Judge, Ben Wysocki, Alistair McDonough, and Nathaniel McCartney.

Ashley, Alistair, and Nathaniel all appeared in High School Musical 10 years ago, and Ben played Billy Flynn in the 2019 production of Chicago.

Giles Atkinson, Subject Sector Leader for the School of Digital and Creative Industries, said: “It’s been a marvelous ten years. Every performance has been its own, unique success. It was great to have a bunch of ex-students back who appeared in that very first Craven College performance. We’re delighted to say that Nathaniel will be back at Craven College in 2019, this time as a teacher in training. We look forward to welcoming him.”
