Idea Generation for Media

Published 01 January

Media students had a guest lecture from Richard Jones, a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader on the BA (Hons) Journalism course at Huddersfield University.

As the students are currently working on documentary production, Richard did a session looking at different processes for ideas generation. The session also asked students to think carefully about the ways in which the media are progressing with the take up of artificial intelligence and smart devices, and how these new technologies would impact their future careers and learning.

Paul Nataraj, Media tutor, said: “The session was a great success with students providing some excellent feedback. There was a good mix of practical and theory which made for an excellent afternoon.”

An exciting introduction to Performing Arts and Creative Media to help you develop confidence, industry knowledge and skills in order to progress.
