Craven College Level 3 Media students have been busy filming at Airedale Hospital this month, working to produce a training video to be used by NHS staff across the hospital.

The video will focus on creating a training video to highlight how strangers can infiltrate the maternity unit and snatch newborn babies. The aim of the video is to make staff aware of the key measures that are in place to protect the newborns, and for staff to identify red flags that can lead to someone snatching a child.

Media Lecturer, Mark Fowler says “The students worked professionally and followed all policies and procedures within the hospital during their time filming. We hope this will lead to more collaborations between Airedale Hospital and Craven College.”
