Alison Pocklington from The Yorkshire Riding Centre, Harrogate, came to Craven College's Equine Unit to run a jumping clinic on 12 June.
Alison trains a wide range of clients for eventing, show jumping, dressage and hunting. She has a particular interest in the development of young horses and the confidence of the rider. She came to the Yorkshire Riding Centre in 1987 and has competed in eventing up to advanced level. She also prepares pupils for British Horse Society Instructor (BHSI) and Stable Manager (SM) exams.
Sam Harsley, equine tutor said: "The clinic was a huge success and was enjoyed by a range of staff and students who all had different aims and goals with their jumping. We hope to have Alison back to see us in the equine unit again in the new college year."
