Inter-College Equitation and Show Jumping Competition

Published 03 June

Equine Year 1 and Level 3 students hosted an Inter-College Equitation and Show Jumping competition as part of their first-year course.

Students from all years took part in the competition whilst the year one students prepared all the horses and groomed for the day. In the morning, the students took part in an equitation class where they were judged on their individual show and in the afternoon the students took part in a show jumping class, they were scored by the fastest time.

Jenny Huxall, Equine Yard Manager, said: “This has been a fantastic show, not only have the students organised it themselves but also competed in the competition. It’s so lovely to see all three years working so well together as a team we are so proud of them and also our fantastic horses.”
