Ex-student Farrier Visits Equine

An ex-student has returned to Craven College working as a farrier.

Zac studied Horse Management Level 3 alongside his GCSE English back in 2012 and now works alongside his father as a farrier. After leaving Craven College, Zac went on to complete a four-year Advanced Apprenticeship (AA) in Farriery.

A S Kaye LTD, who Zac works for alongside his father, visit the yard every six to eight weeks and have done ever since the facility opened.

Jennifer Huxall, Horse Management tutor, said: “Zac provides great inspiration for our students who are in the same position he was back in 2012. Zac and his father have always provided a great service and it’s great to welcome them back.”
