Horse Management

Our Equine department recently hosted another successful show jumping clinic with renowned trainer Kath Pinington.

Kath held the clinic for students and external riders in our arena where she offered a calm, clear, uncomplicated approach to riding. She passed on her vast knowledge and experience of training horses and riders which made for an “extremely enjoyable session”, according to feedback from the event.

Kath has over 25 years’ experience producing and competing on horses up to 4* Level and has experience in retraining ex-racehorses. She is an enthusiastic and passionate trainer who has worked with some of Britain’s top riders and has developed her own clear, simple training system that can be adapted to all levels.

Jenny Huxall, Equine Yard Manager, said: “I would just like to thank Kath for coming along to Craven College and delivering such a great session. The feedback was enormously positive and we look forward to welcoming her back in the future.”
