Last week, Health & Social Care students had the opportunity to practise their interview skills with Nosheen Khan from the University of Bradford.
Students were given inside hints and tips from an expert in the field and used this new understanding to try out their techniques in group interview situations that were highly realistic.
This opportunity led to students being given their own personal scorecards which assessed their areas of strength and where they needed to improve so that they are ready for the interview season that is about to commence.
Jess Cornthwaite, Centre Manager for Health Sciences and Access to Higher Education, said: “Interview skills are of vital importance for students wanting to enter into the Allied Health Professions at university because the courses are incredibly over-subscribed. At Craven College, we have close links with local universities and are proud of our incredibly high interview success rate.”
