Health & Social Care
Health and Social Care students were so inspired by a talk from Cancer Support that they decided to raise money to help reach their target. The 2nd year Level 3 students started to organise the event a month ago having decided on a tombola located in The Café to get maximum number of people walking past (with money to spend!). They bought items themselves, contacted restaurants and local shops for vouchers and donations and used social media to ask for donations of prizes. The final figure was a splendid £130.
