Foundation Learning Students Raise Money for Airedale Hospital
Published 07 December
Representatives from the National Citizenship Service have been working with Foundation Learning students recently to help raise money for Airedale Hospital.
The students took part in several outdoor activities to help them raise the funds.
In the end, they collectively raised £150 and were able to purchase a mechanical cat which will be used to benefit dementia patients and some care packages for the patients on the ward.
Rowan Stockwell, Lecturer in Pathways and Gateways says, “The students really enjoyed being involved with the NCS and worked really hard to raise the money for such a fantastic cause. We look forward to working with them again on future projects.”
