Craven College Performing Arts students braved the weather on Sunday 27 November to perform a medley of uplifting Christmas songs on the High Street Main Stage at the Skipton Christmas Lights Switch On Event.

Their involvement at the event didn’t stop at providing the entertainment, as our students lent a hand to The Skipton Rotary Club by stewarding their annual Santa Fun Run. The ever-popular race also had entries from Craven College staff, all dressed up in Santa, ho ho hoping that their suits would protect them against the forecasted wintery snow.

More Craven College staff were out spreading the joys of Christmas at their market stall, selling delicious Christmas goods, such as Christmas puddings and chutneys, made by the College’s Catering students. The College’s Media students captured all the festivities of the day, utilising their technical skills by filming the entire event for Skipton Town Council.

If you are considering studying a course in Performing Arts, Media, Catering or something else, then apply now for next September! Find out what you can study: https://www.craven-college.ac.uk/subjects/
