Craven College is delighted to announce that we have been chosen as one of the providers selected to deliver T Levels from September 2022. We will be delivering T levels in the Health and Science route (Healthcare Science and Science pathways) and are really excited about the opportunities for students that this will allow. Anita Lall, Vice Principal Curriculum and Quality said that “it is a really exciting time to study at Craven College – our science programmes and facilities are excellent and the opportunity to deliver T levels in the Healthcare Science and Science pathways will take this to a whole new level in the future. We can’t wait!”
T Levels are new courses which will follow GCSEs and will be equivalent to 3 A levels. These 2-year courses have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares students for work.
T Levels will offer students a mixture of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience during an industry placement of at least 315 hours (approximately 45 days). They will provide the knowledge and experience needed to open the door into skilled employment, further study or a higher apprenticeship.
