Step into Strictly

Saturday 27 November 2021 | Doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 7:30pm

Location:  The Engine Shed, Wetherby, LS22 7SU

Richard Newall, Craven College Catering & Hospitality tutor, is swapping his apron for sequins as he takes part in the Step into Strictly dance competition all in aid of the Yorkshire Brain Tumour Charity.

Inspired by the hit show Strictly Come Dancing, along with a group of amateur dancers, husband and wife duo, Richard and Shelagh, will train for 10 weeks with a local dance teacher, perfecting the Waltz and Cha-cha.

The competition will be in front of 250 people and judged by none other than tv legend, Harry Gration.

The pair are dancing in memory of a dear friend, who passed away from a brain tumour at just 45 years old, leaving his wife and three children.

So why not come along and support? Plus, you can “keeep dancing” at the post-show disco, and expect lots of other fun surprises. It’s going to be fab-u-lous!
