We are pleased to announce we have been awarded funding to develop facilities for our new T Levels in Health and Science and will be welcoming our first students from September 2022.
T Levels, a new two-year technical qualification equivalent to three A Levels, have been shaped by employers and businesses to ensure the qualification meets the needs of industry and prepares students for employment and higher-level study. T level students will benefit from a mixture of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ industry experience – allowing them to get a head start towards the career they want.
Craven College’s T Levels in Health and Science will provide an exciting alternative to A Levels, ideal for those who have completed their GCSEs and know what industry they want a career in.
Anita Lall, Vice-Principal Curriculum & Quality at Craven College, comments
“We are delighted that Craven College’s funding application for the new T Levels in Health and Science has been successful. The capital funding will enable us to install industry-standard facilities, such as laboratories and a hospital training ward, which will allow our students to develop their skills and technical knowledge further and better prepare them for industry placements with Healthcare or Science-based employers. This is a hugely exciting development for Craven College, and we are looking forward to welcoming our T Level students from September 2022.”
Further details about Craven College’s T Level provision and how to apply for next September will be announced shortly.
