Business Students Raise Money at Santa Fun Run

Business Studies Level 2 students organised and staffed a stall at the Skipton Santa Fun Run on Sunday 24 November to raise money for Manorlands. Molly, Event organiser for Manorlands had spoken to the students at College and encouraged them to take part in fundraising activities. Jill Frik, Course Tutor said ‘The students were able to organise their stall as part of their course and they raised £141. We are really proud of their efforts.’

Members of the public were invited to take part in 2 games, The Candy Cane which involved rolling a tennis ball into a candy cane pipe and the aim was to catch the ball from the end of the pipe and The Bucket Dunker which consisted of rice, reindeer dust and oobleck.
