Business Students Impress Judges in Dragons’ Den

A group of Business Level 3 students last week organised a Dragons’ Den event for other Business students to take part in.

The room was split into groups with each given a product or service to pitch to three ‘dragons’. The ‘Dragons’ panel consisted of Staff and Professional Development Manager Catherine Adams, Head of School of Community Services and Academic Progression Zoe MacDonald, and Business tutor Christine Caul.

The ‘Food Essentials’ group ran out winners after producing an excellent pitch and completing a lot of research in a short space of time.

Christine Caul, who helped the Level 3 students organise the event, said: “It was a very pleasant morning where plenty of ideas were shared. Each student got really involved and this showed in the quality of the pitches. Well done to the students who organised the event.”
