3D Design Students are working flat out to complete their final major projects in time for the End of Year Show on 21 June.
Sally Shepherd's project is titled ‘Geometric & Organic Forms within Structures.' She wrote her own brief allowing her to follow her inspiration taken from cell structures within the human body and from plants and other natural forms. Sally has created lots of drawings exploring different patterns and shapes and has developed a wire sculpture created with a delicate intricate feel.
Brittany Thompson's final project and installation takes its inspiration from the Foundling Children's Hospital. The installation will feature an abandoned broken cafe. Brittany is casting a range of objects alongside examples of objects before and after being smashed and reassembled in a sculptural to make a thoughtful and interesting work which will exploring the relationship of fragmented objects and separation from their owners.
