Ex Student Invited to Exhibit Work in Switzerland
Ex Craven College Art and Design student, Jylle Navarro, has been invited to exhibit her work at CERN – Switzerland.
Having completed her Art & Design Level 3 course and subsequent Foundation Art Course in 2008, Jylle accepted a place at Middlesex University to concentrate on menswear fashion knitwear in her Honours Degree.
After this, Jylle set up ‘Neon Naked Life Drawing’ in London Pubs, and the sweeping success of this led to both the Tate Modern and Victoria and Albert Museum invited her to run her life drawing workshops. From this, she was then able to do a Master’s Degree in Science and Fashion at Central Saint Martins. CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, are currently exhibiting the outcome of her MA Degree.
Fashion Tutor, Joan Murray has welcomed Jylle on an annual basis in May where they have worked together and supported the current students in styling and choreographing the annual Craven College Fashion Shows.
