Kennel & Cattery Visit

Published 08 March

Animal Studies

Animal Management students recently visited All Creatures Great and Small boarding kennels and cattery in Salterforth.
The day began with a full tour of the facilities by kennel owner Simon followed by a discussion on kennel design and construction. Students were then informed of the new licensing conditions which were introduced in October 2018.
Danielle Fox, Animal Management tutor, said: “We are very fortunate to have such a fantastic animal boarding establishment to visit which is literally on our doorstep. Simon very kindly took time out from the normal day-to-day running of the business to share his knowledge and expertise with the students.  What a great way to spend the morning!”
