World Health Day in Fine Fettle
All students were invited to join a World Health Day event on Aireville Campus. A variety of local organisations gave their support.
Linda Sands, Student Services who organised the event along with the Student Union said ‘ It’s great to work with our community partners by raising awareness in a fun way of some really important issues affecting young people’.
Local organisations such as Yorsexualhealth with chlamydia testing, the Mesmac team, Craven College Student Union promoting awareness of mental health issues, drugs and alcohol with the drunk goggle challenge, FGM awareness and the green smoothie maker (see photo).
Lucy Goodfellow (pictured) was lending her energy to the smoothie maker as well as being on hand to talk about mental health issues that may affect students and where to access help.
