A very happy New Year for Craven College
Ofsted Inspectors visited Craven College early in the New Year and gave the College a clean bill of health. Ofsted rated Craven College as a Good college with Outstanding Apprenticeship provision.
The inspectors’ praise for the Apprenticeship provision was very strong. Craven College is one of only 3 colleges in England to be judged Outstanding for the quality of its Apprenticeships – a magnificent achievement and important for the locality.

“Students and apprentices are well prepared for their next steps”
Principal Robert Bellfield, commented, “The College is delighted with the outcome of its recent Ofsted inspection which confirms the quality of provision which is available at Craven College. The report is a testimony to the hard work and dedication of staff and students.”
David Mabbitt, Chair of Governors said, “The Board is very pleased with the outcome of the inspection and recognises all the hard work put in by staff and the Leadership Team to achieve this result. Our objective now is to drive the College forward to “Outstanding” in all areas, not just Apprenticeships.”
